Thank you Dr. Brottman for saving my life

One of the few doctors who I have heard more than one person say (with sincerity) that he saved my life. If you have complex psychological issues, chronic or acute, and there's a lot at stake (I almost lost my family and my career) you should absolutely see Dr. Brottman. He never gives you less than an hour and he is a true expert in the areas he works in. Other doctors were constantly late, wouldn't remember who I was, and would rush me in and out of their office. Expect the complete opposite. He always knows your full history, appointments are not simple "checkins" but are comprehensive, to avoid any complications that may become an issue. There is no question you can't ask, whether it has to do with physiology, pharmacology, or psychological ailments. I've referred more than one friend and they all say the same. The care is customized to you, not your diagnosis. The office manager is great to work with. He is always reachable in times of significant distress. He's dealt with both… unexpected, severe issues I've had as well as general maintenance for chronic issues and has effectively kept me in good mind and body. I can't recommend him enough. I wish all doctors were as knowledgeable and dedicated to their patients as he is. If he is taking new patients, take the opportunity to make an appointment! He's never arrogant (like many doctors seem to be these days) and always wants your input when he proposes treatment plans/options, so you'll never feel uncomfortable about a treatment he proposes Appointments never last less than an hour and are never rushed, even if that means the occasional appointment running over an hour. This alone has a huge impact on the care. I feel it is necessary to say that the care and assistance he and his office manager have provided me with (in mental crisis situations and in management of chronic conditions) have always been discrete and professional, going far beyond the basic privacy protections expected of doctor's. He treats the whole patient and not a single diagnosed condition from a textbook.

Dr. Brottman worked with me at a very difficult period of my life. Without him I honestly don't know where I would be. I will be forever grateful for all of his help. I would highly recommend Dr. Brottman. Thank you Dr. Brottman

I saw him for a while back in NYC and he was awesome. The best "shrink" I've ever had, he was so insightful and friendly and seemed like he really and truly cared. I would love to see him again when I get back and would recommend him to anyone who wanted a superb, quality psychiatrist.
