Dr. Glenn Lee Dobbs, DO

I've had two visits with Dr. Dobbs. He was great with my daughter but not with me. So, I have mixed feelings. I'm desperate and only keeping up appearances to figure out what's going on with my health. Example of his bed side manner.. after he tells me the findings of my ultrasound he says "You're smiling like you want to ask me something." (Instead of responding with " Smiling? More like shock. You just told me something that I know is not normal and you're acting like I'm craping out rainbows.") However, I just bounced back a couple useless questions to satisfy, thanking him for nothing and feeling more anxious than when I arrived. If I have to have surgery I'm going elsewhere. Any suggestions for a great Gynecologist would be appreciated.

In 2012 I became pregnant and made an apt to see Dr Dobbs. I was having white coat syndrome. I went in to see him and my blood pressure was a little high. I had seen a cardiologist for this and my cardiologist had told me that I did not normally have high blood pressure, so there was no need for medication. I just got nervous at the dr and my pressure was a little high. I explained all this to Dr Dobbs, but he didn't care. He straight up told me that if I didn't get my blood pressure lower at my next visit, he was putting me on blood pressure medicine. I never went back to see him. He was rude and non understanding to me. I am now pregnant again. I see a dr who takes my blood pressure after each visit. I have had no problems at all.

I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. I almost died under his care and was rushed into emergency surgery due to his negligence. He is rude and arrogant, does not listen, and will go against everything you say. I saw him when he was with IU West, and it sickens me to see he is still in practice.

I had to write this review for future patients , DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! He is highly condescending , rude, unprofessional, and ignorant. I cannot go into detail as it is very personal what he did to me. but i highly suggest never using this doctor. I honestly don't even see how he has kept his license .

he is right to the point....but i felt since i am a bigger women that he was looking for problems when my pregnancy.

I have never felt more at ease with a doctor in my life. My husband and I are seeing Dr. Dobbs for our prenatal care for our first baby, and everything has been great. He is very straight forward and knowledgeable. He's listened to all of our questions and concerns and helped get through them. He's very supportive of natural childbirth in all it's forms and recommends the use of doulas during delivery. I highly recommend him to any expectant couple.

I hated every appointment I had with him. He was so rude and short with me. He also had to do my cesearean section and I DID NOT want him to. Although, the surgery went okay, I felt uncomfortable with him. He has NO bedside manner and will make anyone feel uncomfortable.

I have never been treated so rudely.

He will be missed in this area. I wish him luck and happiness in Indy!
