Dr. Glenn Harper, MD

This man is amazing. When my husband had a brain bleed every other doctor was telling me how bad it was. Dr. Harper was the only positive doctor that we saw. I know doctors have to tell you all the risks. Dr. Harper was explaining everything to me and telling me it could be ok. When you are having an emergency that means everything. BTW...my husband is doing well after recovery.

If you want to be crippled, let him operate on you! He will ruin your life! Totally incompetent! Didn’t even perform the surgery on the problem he was supposed to fix and created a new one. Was supposed to walk out of the hospital after a day and instead had to be rushed to a rehab hospital and haven’t walked on my own since. Now have to have another surgery to correct what he screwed up and there’s no guarantee that my back can be restored! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this guy!!!!

Went in for supposedly a simple procedure on my L4 and L5 right side of my spine and walked out almost a cripple on my left side!!! Went into surgery with my left side perfectly okay and came out with excruciating pain and a lack of mobility on my left side that I didn’t have before the surgery! He totally screwed the left side up which has left me dependent on the use of a cane and on drugs to control the pain! I had advanced osteoporosis when I saw Dr Harper and it was brought to his attention way before the surgery. I and other members of my family asked if this would be a problem, and they assured us it would not! Had they done their homework and waited until my bones were stronger, I wouldn’t be in this position! To top it all off, on my follow up visit where they had to face the total screw up of the first surgery, he wanted to do another surgery to try and fix the first surgery!!! How stupid and irresponsible is that? I have since seen several other surgeons all over our area… and down to the Houston medical center and all of them have said the surgery should never have been done!!! Protect yourselves and don’t go to this doctor. You could end up in worse shape than me! He is terrible and really doesn’t care that he ruins your life!

Excellent bedside manner. He has a caring attitude and wants the best for his patients. Takes time to listen to medical problems and offers his opinion.

Dr. Harper gave me back my LIFE! I couldn't thank this man enough for the fact that I am able to do things I wasn't able to do before, because the pain was controlling my life. Even though there is a little bit of a wait to get in to see him I don't mind it one bit. In order to see the best you must be patient, because I know for a fact that he takes his time with each patient ensuring they are comfortable and answers all of the questions being asked. Not to mention he has some of the best bed-side manner I have ever experienced and his staff is always a pleasure to talk to. Crystal, Irene, Kimberly, and Lisa always go above and beyond, and for that I thank you. Kudos to all of y'all, and keep up the EXCELLENT work!

Dr. Harper is an amazing doctor. Definitely the doctor you want to go to. This man is awesome.

Dr. Harper didn't explain post surgery very well, and when I asked him about this he said "If you knew you would never have the surgery done" I believe that. He is an excellent surgeon but I would suggest that when you have your surgery done you make sure that he is not going on vacation the next day for 2 weeks. That's what happened to me and it was not told to me until I was in post op. I was very upset because I didn't like the person he had covering for him. That particular person is not like Dr. Harper at all. That is why I gave him poor bedside manner because I thought he should have said it prior to the surgery. I would have rescheduled it. Believe me you want someone who you already have a relationship with. I felt abandoned because of this. I think that he is very skilled otherwise I wouldn't have had him to begin with. More information prior to surgery would be great....full disclosure. Aftercare by the surgeon who performs the surgery is better, he can answer your… questions regarding the surgery.
