Dr. Glenn Mendoza Perez, MD

Dr. Perez has been my son's pediatrician since birth (11 years now) and he has always been thorough and diligent. When my son is sick, he and his office staff make all efforts to see him same day. His staff, especially back office nurse, is wonderful with my son. Dr. Perez has so much knowledge pay attention to detail. My son had acute pneumonia and Dr. Perez recognized that right away. He made sure the insurance was notified and that we had our nebulizer by day's end. When his condition worsened, prior to receiving the nebulizer, he sent us to ER without hesitation. He is a caring and highly skilled physician. I would recommend him to anyone!

Well, I have going here for along time I love .Dr. Perez but his Staff needs a lot of perfessional help for there front office needs they don't care at all also the dr. Is never their when u need him and he's always in a hurry and he diagnosis my child wrong and I had to take her another Dr. And had to pay cash which I didn't have U need,to think twice to take your kids their. My suggestion is he needs to at more drs or be there more.

Very poor bedside manner.

Dr. Perez was the pediatrician on duty at SACH when my daughter was born so he became her doctor by default. I have never met a doctor with worse bedside manner than him. After having an emergency c-section he comes in to see my daughter a few hours after she was born, spends about 2 minutes with us and walks out not returning to check on her for 2 days. It got worse when we had her first appointment at his office. That is, when we were actually able to get an appointment. For the past 8 months since she was born I have only had 1 appointment actually take place on the original day that it was scheduled. His staff is rude and completely unaccommodating. Our current appointment where my daughter was supposed to get her 6 month shots has been re-scheduled 3 times. His office staff never bothered calling me to reschedule so I took my daughter to her appointment in the pouring rain only to get there and find the office closed. To say I was upset was an understatement. I am currently… searching for a pediatrician that can do a better job than Dr. Perez.

I have worked in a hospital setting in both ER and Labor and Delivary and have seen many Pedatricians and Dr. Perez is stand out to me. He has always been consistant with his bedside manner which is caring and thorough. His care for my 3 children has always made me feel like he's treating his own family my children love him. When making appointments, the office staff is ALWAYS willing to schedule my children on the same day. I Live far from the office and have tried other pedatrician's in my area an none compare.

This office is unprofessional, the staff did not acknowlege or greet me as I signed in and overlooked my name, I had to get up and check with status of being called, only for them to tell me, I can't be seen because I had no appt. set. I waited 45 min. just to have them tell me this! Point proven that they did not ackowledge me or the sign in sheet.

Dr. Perez was recommended to me by my OBGYN and i am very pleased with him. He definitly goes the extra mile for his patients. When my baby was born he requested to see him 3 days after his hospital release. There were issues with my insurance and i chose to wait to see him instead of paying for the visit. Dr. Perez got word of it and called me to check on my baby and see if i had any questions. Big plus in my book. He takes his time and fully examines my baby each time. I also appreciate that he gives my baby prescription when absoulutly necessary, wich i am not against. I would 100% recommend him.

I'm really surprised at all the glowing reviews for Dr. Perez. He was rough in his examination of my daughter and immediately prescribed medication with serious side effects despite the fact that our two former, very trusted pediatricians advised against said medication. He was short and unclear in his answers to our questions. He seems to have a very traditional "I am the doctor and you're just the clueless parents, do what I say" approach. We won't be going back to Dr. Perez.

I have been with Dr. Perez for both of my kids, one is 12 years and the other 3 months. I feel that Dr. Perez has a lot of experience with children...he tries to put them at ease if they are nervous. I love that I always feel they will try and get me in instead of having me go to urgent care. That is a huge plus in my book! The staff is also very helpful

Love that he would prefer to see his patients over them going to urgent care - he'll figure out a way to fit you in.Insists on follow-ups to make sure the treatment is right.Has no problem changing to meet the times - we split shots up and every time we come for a shot catch up appointment, he insists on seeing the patient (instead of the nurse just giving the shot and off we go - what our old provider did) and giving him/her a once over.
