Excellent doctor. He sees what needs to be done and takes care of it. He has a "get it done" type of attitude but is also patient and will take his time when needed. He listens to what the patient has to say. Very good guy and I would definitely recommend him. (When we went to get blood work and the blood work place told us we had to do it another day he called and made it happen.) Staff was horrible and actually made me cry when I was bringing my husband into the appointment. I understand the staff is busy but the staff needs to have some compassion and patience with sick people. (They can learn compassion from the doctor.)

I have called this dr.'s office numerous times to find out test results, but have never gotten a return call from the Dr. or nurse. I seem to get a run around from the receptionist. Waiting time to get in to see him is pretty long also. I will definately look else where for another doctor.

There are a few issues which need to be address with this doctor. In the positive side the office will try to fit you in to see the doctor if you have an unexpected illness (eg. cold). The problem with appointments is the long waiting periods. The office has a very bad scheduling issue; they schedule too many people for their time slots which are suppose to be an appt. every 15 minutes (which is never the case). I know what it was to have an appointment for 9 am and wait until 11 am to be called, when called waited about 15 minutes for the doctor to rush because they are closed for lunch at 12. Dr. Pizarro takes about 4 minutes with you and then you always have a follow up to a visit which did not do anything for you. I believe that everyone deserves a chance but when this occurs every time it is time to change doctors if your health is important to you which it is to everyone (at least it is to me). The office staff is not profesional (if I was to go in detail I will not be able… to finish the review with all I have witnessed at this office). Dr. Pizarro has had issues in the past with patients he just finished a court case and he is not allow to practice medicine in the emergency rooms at Amsterdam nor Gloversville. You may search his name in google and can find the court papers it is available to the public. He did not contest to negligence to more than one occasion. His license is in probation for two years and the entire paper work can be found online (which should speak for itself.
