Dr. Glenn Michael Polin, MD

Openly admitted he did not review my chart before my new patient visit.He did not do any physical exam at all. Very dismissive and was clearly annoyed that ochsner moved my scheduled my appointment to an earlier date because they had a cancelation. I've been seen by 4 doctors all of them said I needed an EP specialist. I have liver disease episodes of tachycardia and bradycardia and extremely low blood pressure. He prescribed a medication that has various contraindications for ALL these conditions. Told me the medicine was extremely expensive and that my insurance would not cover it. He said after I paid for the first month of medication and if it worked he would possibly contact the drug manufacturers but he wasn't "doing all that" if I couldn't tolerate the medicine. At the end of the visit he told me there was nothing wrong with me, yet he gave me medication for heart failure. I would strongly recommend using someone else if you want a doctor who actually reviews your medical… history before giving medicine that could cause further cardiac issues. He referred me to a different EP specialist outside of the ochsner network work.

Dr Polin is an excellent surgeon who preformed my ablation. He has taken my post-surgerical care. He explains and answers questions completely and generously. He is very personable.

I appreciate that in a time where most doctors don’t listen and just want to prescribe pills, that there is someone like Dr. Polin. He listens and cares about the patient’s goals and concerns. By far, best doctor I have had since coming to Louisiana 20 years ago. Could not recommend him more! Preserved my ability to run marathons at 62!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Polin since 2016 for atrial fib in which he performed a cardiac ablasion. I trust him completely. He is so kind, caring, and professional. I highly recommend him.

I personally think Dr. Polin is excellent doctor. He has great bedside manners and has a lot of knowledge in his field of expertise. I went to Dr.Polin 2 yrs ago and he did a procedure on me that has changed my life to the good over the past 2 yrs. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr Polin is amazing. After he reviewed my pacemaker results and EKG he discontinued my propafenone that I had been on for years for atrial tachycardia. One less pill ?? at my age is great !!

Dr Polin has been my cardiologist for around 2 years. He performed my cardiac ablation for atrial fibrillation. He is extremely thorough, compassionate and kind. Dr Polin is the complete package.
