Dr. Glenn Sandler is a graduate of Colgate University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at the Albert Einstein Medical Center and entered surgical practice in 1995. Dr. Sandler has been Chairman of the department of Surgery as well as Chief of General Surgery at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and is currently the Director of the Breast Screening Program and moderator of the breast cancer tumor board at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. the management of breast disease, Dr. Sandler has a strong interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery, gallbladder surgery and hernia surgery. He has taught techniques in laparoscopic surgery and currently teaches the technique of the Kugel hernia repair to practicing surgeons throughout the country. He has been named as one of the areas Outstanding General Surgeons by the Washingtonian Magazine as well as by the Consumer Checkbook. Dr. Sandler sees patients in our Rockville and Germantown offices.
