Dr. Glenn L. Schattman, MD

Dr. Schattman is by far the best fertility doctor out there. He is extremely knowledgeable, he is so patient, he answers all your questions, and he looks out for his patients. I am grateful to have had him as my doctor. He is the doctor who will call and follow up with you at 8pm at night, he works so hard and his dedication is unreal. Hands down the best! Fayth

I had great experience with Dr. Schattman. He is accessible, very prompt, attentive and thorough -- everything that majority of NYC doctors' isn't. Not to mention that he is very, very honest. I am a "difficult" patient, yet Dr. Schattman did not leave a single question unanswered (I had many of them, on multiple occasions). He did not recommend any unnecessary procedures, surgeries or tests. He did not sugar-coat possible complications. Every time I spoke with him or his staff I felt reassured and taken care of. This is all on top of the fact that Dr. Schattman is an EXCELLENT specialist in his area.

Dr. Schattman is the best. He’s an excellent surgeon and a great doctor. He’s calm and confident and cares about the well-being of his patients. If you’re going through infertility you want to be with this doctor as he’s extremely bright and doesn’t miss a beat. I am an anxious patient and he always took the time to answer my questions and make me feel confident in the process. Despite Cornell being a large clinic he was able to personally be at every procedure I went through.

Exactly who you want with you on a journey through infertility. Highly recommend!

I tried for a week to get an appointment with this practice. I had an urgent reason. The secretaries were extremely rude and cold, and refused to help. If the doctor is anything like his secretaries ...If a person became his patient, I hope getting a response from his office is better than my experience.

Dr. Schattman is great--super nice, listens well and explains his treatment plan clearly and patiently. The staff at the center, however, is not so nice. I had multiple interactions with front desk staff, nurses, secretaries and technicians. Repeatedly, I was met with controlling behavior and rude interactions. It's a shame b/c it appears to be a well-run office--very nice and clean, and I didn't have to wait. But the staff seems very unhappy. Either management needs to do better by these employees and improve training or hire people who actually want to interact with and help patients.

When I awoke from a D&C Dr. Shattman performed on me after miscarrying at 8 weeks, he and the anesthesiologist were laughing at my expense and I've never forgotten the pain of the experience. It was several years ago.
