Dr. Glenn Roger Thorp, MD

I saw Dr. Thorp for the first time in July 2025. I have been looking for a competent Internist in Nothern Nevada for ten years and have been sadly disappointed; after connecting with seven, so called internists. I was returning to Los Angeles to see a doctor there until it became too expensive and tiring. I got lucky by chance. A friend told me about Dr. Thorp, so I rolled the dice and made an appointment. To say that Dr. Thorp is competent is a understatement. He spent over an hour during the first consult and I received the most medical assessment of my complex medical issues in over 50 years of seeing doctors. My wife is a USC BSN RN grad. and she was very impressed with dr. Thorp's academic credentials and my physical assessment (se doesn't have a very high opinion of Northern Nevada doctors) I was also impressed. He seems caring, asks the right questions in an amiable way. I will refer him to anyone. He's a keeper. Ken Yescas

Glenn took time to explain everything to me, answer questions and listen to my concerns. He reviews my case and is well prepared each visit. Nice guy.

He just didn't care about his patient, me. Wouldn't read medical history, so wanted to run excessive amount of new tests just to verify the historic medical history from his peers.
