Dr. Glenn Young, MD

My experience has been GREAT from day one. I can't say enough how great Dr. Young and the entire staff are. Such a good decision on my part.

Dr. Young listens to you. He asks questions and waits for your answer. He will take the time with you to see what is going on in your body. He has years of experience and is caring and compassionate.

Have been seeing Dr. Young for several years, I trust him completely.

Dr Young is a very skilled doctor. He is very knowledgeable as well as efficient. He is very thorough and his office staff is helpful and informative. I trust Dr Young 100%.

Dr. Young is a very compassionate doctor and surgeon. After my endoscopy, it was determined that I had aspirated into my lungs. This caused several serious issues and Dr. Young has my husband return me to the ER of the facility where the procedure was done. They acted quickly and got me under control ad then sent me by ambulance over to Texoma Medical Care for the Step-Down ICU. Lots of care in these two facilities and Dr. Young was there talking with the ER doctors. He actually called me after I got to TMC to give the the results of the colonoscopy. He is great and really cares about his patients.

My son's girlfriend has waited 3 weeks in pain for an appointment. We literally had to restrain him from gong to Dr Young's office to ask what is wrong with them. The office manager accused her of wanting the appointment to get pain killers and said they would not have anything to do with that. What an outrageous claim and way of treating a patient whom they have never seen before. Her prior doctors were out of town (she moved here a few months ago). She was told if she was in so much pain that she should have gone to Baylor (quite a drive). The office manager said Dr Young had not had time to review her files so could not make appointment (now over 3 week). When she spoke to my wife about the way she was treated she was crying. This is a very responsible young lady with a management position in a loan office. We've known her for about a year now and can truly say that this inference/accusation as to an ulterior motive, without an appointment is most unprofessional, and cruel. … She picked us her file today and already has an appointment with someone who has time for her. IMHO, Dr Young (who isn't - he's over 70), isn't interested in seeing new patients. He's probably more interested in a working retirement. If so, that is his biz and I don't care - but there's no excuse for it. On the other hand - perhaps he's fine and the problem is the person running the office.

Very nice, very professional, very knowledgeable physician. It was a good experience for me and I highly recommend him to others.
