Glenn David Yowell, D.D.S. is a board certified dentist who has been practicing dentistry since 1986. He grew up in central Kansas in the small town of Delphos.  He is the youngest of four children and his parents both worked in the medical field. His father was (and still is!) the town's dentist (hence his name for the past 40+ years has been "Doc") and his mother was a registered nurse.
His parents always hoped that some day their son would follow in their footsteps. After leaving Delphos, Dr. Yowell attended Kansas State and went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1986 from the University of Missouri in Kansas City's School of Dentistry, the same school where his father had graduated 30 years prior. After graduation, he practiced in both St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri. Glenn relocated to Iowa City in 2002 to be closer to his wife's family, as his wife's mother, two sisters and their families have been residents of Iowa City …for nearly 20 years. Glenn has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association and the Johnson County Dental Society. A little bit more about Glenn...Â
