Dr. Glori Ann Stinson Short, MD

Dr. Short is the best doctor that I know. She is cares about her patients and takes the time to list to me when I am in her office. Patients are not limited to a scheduled few minutes like most doctors seem to be adhering to now. If I have a problem, she works to resolve it. If you are looking for a GREAT OB/GYN, pick Dr. Short!

Came to the Doctor for pellets. The cost was $350 because insurance doesn’t cover. She inserted the pellets on me and when I complained that it seemed like the were not right. That the estrogen was too high My symptoms Included tender breast a nosebleed shortness of breath and too hyped up feeling. also I was too emotional weight gain from estrogen being too high she would not adjust the levels and suggested I wait And see how I felt. and I asked for a refund. I was told by her nurse that she wouldn’t refund my money if they took my pellet it out of me. So I now having To pay another Doctor to take out the pellet and start over and I feel Terrible From it. The staff was rude to me and horrible too. She’s only there one time a week in the city. Total nightmare of experience. They lost my labs also. I went 3 times already. Not going back to her ever.

I recently found out that the total hysterectomy she did for me in 1999, was not exactly as complete as I thought. I went in for an emergency appendectomy and found out I still have a piece of an ovary. I will be contacting Dr. Short this week.

Dr Short saved my life!I had been to emergency rooms in Birmingham,Al over and over (4 times) inj a month complaining of excruiating pain and blodd loss. Bham did ultrasounds, cat scans, bloodwork up, urinalysis' and cost me thousands of dollars only to tell me they didnt see anything. I went to Dr Short 1 visit and she found my problem first visit! How did they miss it in Bham?? I had lost a total of 27 lbs due to anemia,blood loss, and nausea (i couldnt eat!) She scheduled my surgery and i havent felt this healthy since i was a teenager!
