Dr. Gloria Grace Guptill, MD

I come from a family of doctors and nurses. I KNOW what good medicine is. Dr. Guptill is a rare and precious find. Even in these days when rushed appointments and impersonal medicine are the norms, she is focused, compassionate, and very present with her patients. She explains things fully, so they understand why something is prescribed or suggested. She welcomes a patient being a "co-conspirator" and listens and discusses as they find additional ways to improve their health on their own. She is open minded without following fads. She does research to look at alternatives or new information. She is immediately responsive when a patient has a question or a problem. She engages with a patient head, hands and heart. She is, without question, the best physician (outside of my family) that I have ever encountered. If you are looking for a new GP, you can find no better.

This was a wonderful Doctor who is no longer available to her patients. The majority of care is now provided by NP’s or PA’s. Now those people aren’t readily available, sometimes for weeks for urgent matters.
