Had an ESI performed. I felt everything and she chastised me saying it was only a little burning when I was writhing, screaming and crying. Had to go to ER because I could not sleep due to pain. Still in pain and have foot numbness that was not present before procedure, tried calling but no one ever tried contacting me back. Communication of staff and doctor is very poor. Never again. Duke is supposed to be one of the best hospitals, but after my experience, it is not that great.

Great doctor to work through my back pain issues with me. Is very thorough in seeking step by step therapies to minimize the back pain issues that have plagued me in recent years. I have every confidence that she will work with me until I find a comfort level at which I can function without, without the pain that has plagued me in recent years. I trust her instincts in pain management.

I have used Dr. Liu for 5 years. Best pain management I've had - very good with accupuncture and spinal injections.
