Dr. Gloria M Ortiz, MD, FACE

I am very disappointed with Dr. Ortiz. She is in my health network for endocrinologists so I set up an appointment with her. The office made me come 3 times to visit with different PAs. I asked again for an appointment with the doctor and finally met her. She was cold, dismissive, and spoke 2 inaccuracies about my case. Her PAs had prescribed 2 different meds for diabetes and I had bad reactions to both of them. Each cost $500 per month without insurance. I preferred to keep my Glipizide because I do not have negative side effects with it. My thyroid has been removed so I need her to monitor my progress in that area, too. She said if I prefer, go ahead and take the Glipizide and since “anyone can prescribe Synthroid,” go to your regular doctor. “That’s their bread and butter. I treat people with worse problems, so I’m not going to see you anymore.” I was shocked and thrown out. This has never happened to me before with a doctor. Beware of this doctor and Endocrinology… group.

Dr Ortiz listened to my problem and thoroughly examined me.Dr Ortiz is passionate and explained the problem in detail.I was supposed to travel out of the country.She took special care and made a call to explain about my Potassium deficiency and also my diabetes problem.I have got high respect for her.Also nurses and staff of the center are very helpful and cooperative.Hope we shall see the doctor and nurses and staff for my future treatment

Awesome and super friendly doctor and great staff. Well appointed and organized office. Great use of technology. I wish all medical offices can be this good! Dr. Ortiz is superb in her medical knowledge and communication skills. I highly recommend Dr. Ortiz.

Dr. Ortiz and staff are second to none! Best experiences I have had with my issues, amazing levels of service, extremely knowledgeable Dr. who truly cares about her patients and their success in treatment. The office staff is terrific as well!

She explained everything and made my visit comfortable

I’m very impressed about Dr Ortiz, she’s absolutely professional and ethical about her work. She sets a very good example to her staff and they flaunt it, very professional and attentive, efficient and friendly. She’s also a good listener and keeps good records of my studies and follows up thoroughly on both my diabetes and thyroid conditions. Her office is always clean and neatly organized, and smells really good.

Dr. Ortiz is an excellent doctor, she listened to my concerns. She evaluated me and went the extra steps to assist me in my evaluation. I would recommend her highly.

Dr. Gloria Ortiz was very thorough, knowledgeable, and to the point. She encouraged me to “start at the beginning” and took the time to hear my story and ask my questions. She was very clear with explanations and was very quick. I didn’t wait long like other doctor visits. I would highly recommend Dr. Ortiz!

Dr. Ortiz treats her patients as if they were family; she is proactive and committed to bettering the health of those under her care.
