Dr. Gohar Habib Dar, MD

Gohar Dar, MD, is a Cardiac Anesthesiologist in the Department of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. He holds a certificate from the United States Medical Licensing Examination and has a Human Research Subjects Protection Training Certificate in intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography. In addition to anesthesia, Dr. Dar's specialty interests include critical care medicine, use of ultrasound in the critical care setting, sepsis, ARDS and intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography. Dr. Dar was born in Jhelum, Pakistan, and attended medical school at the Ayub Medical College at Peshawar University in Pakistan, graduating with degrees in surgery and in medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in anesthesia at Jackson Memorial Hospital of the University of Miami in Florida.
