Dr. Goran Tubic, MD

I was Dr. Tubics patient for about 5yrs+. I've had several injections with Dr. Tubic none of which worked but no fault to him. I just have a bad back. What I will fault him for is never wanting to see his patients and him always making you see Natalie for all your in office appointments. I never once saw him in the office and after 5yrs the one time I actually wanted to see him I was told No several times over with no reason why except for this is how we do things here. So I left. If I can't have at least one appointment with MY PHYSICIAN AFTER 5 LOYAL YEARS then I'm out.

If I could give him a lower rating I would!! He is nothing he portrays himself to be. He takes your Medicare $ & you get NO PAIN RELIEF!! He does one injection over and over & over again with no posative results. He also comes in the same day as injection procedure stays for maybe 40 seconds n then GONE!! Also, if he is an Anastesioligistehwhy does he have someone else put you under. He SUCKS BIG TIME & I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO MY EORST ENEMY!!

Incompetent, egocentric and full of himself

Dr. Tubic, his office staff, and clinical staff are personable, professional, accurate, and encouraging. My pain has been taken seriously, and addressed pro-actively. I greatly appreciate the diagrams and teaching aspect of my visits, to show me what is going on in my body. Each procedure has been helpful and without complications. As of now, I am almost pain free over two years and can walk again. When I develop pain, it is usually because I have not done the prescribed physical therapy exercises, or have ignored the movement restrictions; e.g. “no bending over forward”, or “lift only ten pounds or less”. As for office visit wait times; some are longer than expected. But I have rarely been in a doctor’s office where this is not so. I highly recommend Dr. Tubic as a first choice for pain management. No hesitation.

I initially went to Dr. Tubic in a wheelchair. I came in with four discs that were all degenerated and bulged, one of which was herniated and the other almost bone on bone. I had recently been additionally injured after an overzealous chiropractor (my chiro's sub) and suddenly could no longer walk due to a full-on cramp down my front left thigh into both my left pelvis and hip which then went on for over 2 weeks. After my first treatment with Dr. Tubic, I was able to put weight on my leg and actually walk, albeit a bit hunched over, exactly as he told me I would be. After my next treatment, I was able to stand up straight. He has been working with me for over a year because there is no guarantee that a surgery will help me, told to me by both a neurosurgeon and an orthopedic doctor, yet they say it's my only hope. In the meantime, the various treatments he gives me are all according to where the pain is. I am able to work after being off for a few months. Although the pain is sporatic… and throughout my day, it has been significantly decreased. Just the fact that I can walk and go to work is amazing. He is extremely busy because so many people are flocking to him. He is very dedicated to his work. The low scores I see on this site are mostly from the frustration of waiting or scheduling, which I can understand can be frustrating. Possibly some people can't get as many pain meds anymore. I just know that I have made sure not to be dependent on pain meds, and to be in touch with my source of pain in order to answer his questions about where the pain is and the true level of pain. I am sorry others have not had a good experience, but to me he has made my quality of life so much better. I highly recommend him.

Writing this review is an honor for me. I have suffered from headaches and migraines for over 30 years. Been to many neurosurgeons specialists/pain management doctors and none could ever figure out what was wrong or bring me relief. Dr Tubic has a very good bedside manner, takes as much time for his patients to explain and discuss their pain, and uses modern procedures. His staff is always friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a doctor to just prescribe addicting drugs he's not the one for you. He utilizes cleaner treatments and as a last result the heavier pain relievers. Dr Tubic also investigates what is causing the pain and from where to better treat the patient and give them relief. I have been his patient for over 5 years and I am more than graciously satisfied with his treatment and practice in managing my pain and would recommend him to anyone.

You can never get a person answering a call. You always have to leave a message and wait for a callback. The wait times are horrendous due to overbooking. You will also be charged an extra fee along with your doctors visit fee. Stand clear.

Seen Dr Tubic for many years. Unfortunately, he has negatively changed. He has ceased listening. I have family members that have witnessed it. I feel that I am being computer dealt with instead of doctored. He sits in front of a computer screen, runs through my meds, and then leaves. Appointment time has gone from 15 minutes down to 5 for the last one. The average wait time, from lobby to sitting in the office, for the last three appoints is 2.5 hours. In the middle of this data entry, I tried to tell him how I've felt from the last appoint and he grimaces and says there is nothing he can do. He has become exceptionally pushy about a pain pump. He had to remove the nerve stimulator he put in because it popped out of the muscle and did not work. He said he would put it by a rib - why would that work better? ugh. In January, he said the DEA is making him cut each of his patient’s medicine in half. He did cut the long acting pain med in half by March. Then, without directly communicating… with me at the appointment and in part because he sends everything to pharmacy via electronic transmit, he has cut the half in half and will continue to do so through June. (2 refills). Placed in the undesirable position of questioning with a long standing pharmacist – did he/she not refill correctly? No, this is what the Dr sent over. More seriously, I feel I'm no longer be pain managed enough to have any relief. Getting very minimal pain meds and am only about a year post- fusion and with a broken bone pending surgery. In the meantime, he jokes around like they are friends. I honestly think that he has no interest or care in taking care of my pain anymore. He wants me put over to a pain management device so that I can meet with the manufacturer when it doesn't work and the pharmaceutical/insurance company when we discover that the medicine is not covered by insurance anymore. In the meantime, he will get the over the course of time bonus for the referral and his busy schedule will be freed up for someone else to be wedged in. Sad for me. .

All he cares is just to have procedure and injection on the patients because procedures are having more money for him from patient's insurance. He never listen to patient.

Ok I don't know where to start. The doctor is not terrible. He helped me figure out what was wrong with me. However it is incredibly hard to make an appointment without playing phone tag with the office staff. They never answer the phone. Second, this man is so busy that you have to wait 3 months before you can even see him and when you do get to see him he makes you wait an hour in the waiting room EVERY time. Almost exactly an hour, it's insane, I've actually timed this guy. But back to the staff, they are the main problem. Ok so these people have no idea what's going on. Don't try calling them to figure out your payment plan/options; there aren't any. They make you pay in full. Billing is not billing. You can ask to speak with them but you just end up with this Donna lady who has no idea what is going on. She has zero access to your records and no clue who does. Like WTAF? I was told to speak with the OFFICE staff as apposed to billing department in regards of my bill which made no… sense and irritated me greatly. They literally had NO CLUE if I owed or payed them any money for my visits. Also don't bother seeing this guys assistant, he isn't much better or faster than Tubic. He also rushes you and doesn't give two sh*ts about your problem. Hoped I saved someones time. Please believe me, you can find better care almost any where else.
