I visited Dr. Baskin about two years ago with a hard to diagnose illness. Dr. Baskin was able to quickly identify my problem and recommend treatment. He is an excellent and well trained physician. I wholeheartedly recommend this great practitioner.

Dr. Gordon is quite arrogant. He makes it clear that because he's been "doing this for 30 years" and roboticaly treats patients as if every one is the same. Dr.Baskin brushes off my complaints of debilitating side effects due to my 24 week medication treatment and tells me the severity is "uncommon"refusing to offer any compassion or relief to get me through the rest of my treatment. He is very cold and doesn't care about me at all other than the money he's making from treating me. At my last visit, after not batting an eye as I bawled my eyes out, he refused to give me any medication to help alleviate my side effects and also telling me that my constant dizzy spells and passing out "aren't normal" but "might be because you're unable to eat" (again, brushing it off), his solution then was "just stop taking the meds and stop treatment then" -which he sent the nurse in to tell me- regardless of the fact that the meds are already working well on curing my hepatitis. Every visit with him… he acts like he knows it all and instead of treating people like individuals that require individual care, he instead acts lime he's simply fixing things on an assembly line doing he exact same thing every single person with no change in the plans regardless of the person's needs. I would recommend staying as far away from him as a dr as possible. I truly wish I would have swentent to and began treatment with another GI. I'll be thrilled when I'm done and never have to deal with him again.

He is very knowledgeable about his field. He is very aware of his patients needs and health problems. He treats you very special and as an individual. I would highly recommend him.
