Horrible Surgeon....on bedside manor...doesn't know what he is doing...had to be flown out in helicopter, for emergency botched up surgery.....at U of Penn....hearing nothing but HORROR STORIES from this surgeon! He seems he really doesn't care, either....botched up Colostomy operation, is not JOKE!!

As a disciple of Do's teachings I have found Doctor Gordon very helpful. i have discovered the secrets of the universe thanks to him, also thanks for inventing Solid Works.

I will keep this short and sweet. My experience with this doctor was horrible. He has absolutely NO bedside manner. Agree with other comment. Rolls his eyes a lot. Acts like he could care less. Was admitted for possible appendectomy. Turned out to be hernia that he never diagnosed. Was told by other doctors, that know of him to write to AMA about experience. Stay away !

My experience with Dr. Callender was great. I had very little post op pain after a gallbladder removal and my colonoscopy. I found his bedside manner to be among the best. I found his post op instructions very clear and had a great rapport with him during my follow ups.

I hate to be so critical, but there were numerous things about my experience with Dr. Callender that disturbed me. after having rectal surgery, his discharge instructions were lacking- to say the least. There were instructions about dressing that I didn't have and nothing about diet/stool softeners (which would have been helpful after prescribing Percocet which constipates you). He and his MA were emotionless. He rolls his eyes a lot and speaks in a demeaning tone. I never returned for my follow-up after being unsatisfied with his care.
