Dr. Gordon T Doneskey

Dr Doneskey has been an excellent health care provider for our family for many years,my husband for 25 plus years, myself since 1997,my mother for a few years until her passing at 90 years old, and our daughter. I started seeing Dr. Doneskey in 1988 for what was a problematic diagnosis of a complex infection that had defied correct treatment. Not only did he take the time to correctly diagnosis the infection, but he set up a treatment that successfully prevented its return-ever. Dr. Doneskey often runs late in his appointments because he is actually speaking with and listening to his patients. He uses the information he collects from these discussions to actually understand the problem, determine which tests will be helpful and schedules the least invasive procedures possible. He is simply a caring, intelligent, and gifted physician!

I have been very fortunate to have Dr. Gordon Doneskey as my Primary Care Physician for over 20 years, ever since I returned to AZ. He has always given me the best care, and knows all of my Medical issues and concerns. He orders any necessary tests and is always able to get to the root of any problems in a timely manner. He is always aware of any testing, treatments, and/or procedures and issues with any other medical providers. When I need to see another Doctor, he always refers me to the best in their fields. Dr. D is always very friendly and good natured. I am very Blessed to have such a knowledgeable and experienced Physician to watch over my medical needs. I have referred some of my friends to Dr. D and they have also been very satisfied. I strongly recommend Dr. Gordon Doneskey if you are looking for a Family Physician.

The doctor is fine. It's the office manager and the receptionist that are the problem. They are judgmental, rude and although I was polite, the office manager hung up on me. I would search elsewhere for a PCP.

I have always been so very pleased with Dr. Doneskey and His nurse as well. The whole staff is very professional and caring. I thank you so much for the great way you've treated me and everyone that I have referred to him. Dr. Doneskey you are amazing! I have been your patient for over 20 years.

Dr. Doneskey doesn't treat you just as a patient, but as a person. He listens to what you have to say and works with you to find out the problem and help you to feel more yourself.

Most caring physician on the planet-his diagnosis was spot on when four others had misdiagnosed

I was a patient of Dr. Doneskey for over 8 years ... loved the care I received. After being out of the country for 4 years, I attempted to renew my health care with Dr. Doneskey. Unfortunately, I was told that he would "not accept returning patients" His facility (and his site) says that he accepts new patients. It is a downright shame that one cannot renew one's association with a doctor that one trusts ..... Since joining up (or becoming a partner in) Desert View Medical group, it seems as if he is now more governed by time restrictions with his patients, rather than taking the time to listen to them, talk to them, advise them, etc. It seems that after 11 minutes, his nurse comes in and ends the consultation visit. What a darn shame ... and he is one of the best doctors around. too bad.

Great Doctor, very caring and takes as much time as you need. His nurse on the other hand isn't work keeping as she acts likes shes the Doc. very seldom will return your calls. If Dr. Doneskey wasn't such a great Dr. and person would of left along time ago because of his nurse.
