Dr. Gordon Irwin Groh, MD

Horrible. Dr Groh may be a technically competent doctor but his manner is nothing short of offensive. As long as you just sit there and don’t ask him any questions I guess he could control himself and be cordial but if you have any concerns or need clarification he is insufferable. My husband and I have been to him multiple times so this is not a “he was having a bad day” situation. There are plenty of other good doctors here that don’t treat their patients that way

Dr. Groh has replaced both of my shoulders. The first was a very complicated one. I already had a shoulder replacement, but I tore my rotator cuff. This would require a reverse total shoulder replacement, and it was complicated. He consulted with other leading orthopedic practices around the country. Together they agreed on the best approach. Thanks to Dr. Groh and his remarkable team, I have full range of motion in that arm. That was three years ago. This year my other shoulder needed to be replaced due to arthritis, and because my rotator cuff had been repaired, I needed another reverse total shoulder replacement. This one was straightforward. One night in the hospital, to keep Medicare happy, and I was home. Now six months later, I have full range of motion in this arm. The fact that I have two high-functioning shoulders and can return to doing all the things I love to do is a testament to his skill, his team, and his determination to do the very best he can for every patient he… sees.

Dr. Groh is an Excellent Doctor who took the time with me to properly diagnose what my Wrist problem was. After going to two different Hand Drs in the area, I went to Dr Groh for a 2nd opinion because they have recommended surgery. Dr Groh assured me Surgery was not needed and that, based on his assessment/evaluation, I had an old fracture and TFC (Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex). Dr. Groh performed surgery on both my wrists which were fractured in a head-on automobile collision. Injuries were significant and required plates inserted in both wrists. Dr. Groh's experience, precision and care resulted in excellent repair to my wrists. At 4 months post-surgery, I have good range of motion, strength and comfort.

Dr. Groh addressed a long standing problem I had with Dupytrens Contracture. He was professional, informative and very successful in effecting a treatment. I highly recommend him.

Will gladly perform a reverse shoulder arthoplasty. But if you have problems and pain afterwards he could care less.
