His military tenure involved research on aviation-related visual factors. Transitioning to civilian life, he worked in Midland/Odessa, TX, studying retinal regeneration in albino catfish. With over two decades at the El Paso Veterans Administration, he attained a Fellowship at the American Academy of Optometry and contributed extensively to published research. Recently, he enhanced his expertise in pediatric eyecare during an 18-month stint at The Children's Eye Center in El Paso, TX, alongside Dr. Radenovich. Outside of work, he enjoys …hiking and mountain biking in El Paso, as well as indulging in his hobby of smoking briskets and ribs with his smoker, using pecan wood.
