Loved his courteousness and willingness to listen and diagnose the problem. Bedside manners were great. Could really have a conversation with him regarding the issue I had. However, absolutely atrocious with accountability over his own actions. He have me the option of having a biopsy of the skin condition I had, but he expressed his opinion that the results would simply come back positive for a guess that he had; therefore I decided not to pursue the biopsy. Fast forward 5 months, with me having experienced a ton of morbid symptoms and every doctor I have visited doesn't believe the "guess" this Dermatologist had. So this whole time I've spent countless time, money and effort chasing a ghost, only to have Dr Herron not even confirm what he said. His notes specified nothing about this particular recommendation. My advice to any patient regardless of specialty visit: record your conversations. It just might save your life! Experts are not experts until they show proof of such… with YOU. Moreover, they are human. They could have a bad day, be in a rush, be psychologically compromised during their visit with you. You just don't know. Ironically, you cannot trust an expert
