Dr. Gordon Lee Jensen, MD

I credit Dr. Jensen with saving my life. I was diagnosed with a paralyzed digestive tract. While my other MDs told me to keep trying to eat and push fluids, Dr. Jensen quickly assessed me and put me on TPN (total parental nutrition) because every time I tried to eat, i would get sick. I dropped 20lbs in less than a month and my nutritional status was so bad that if I came into contact w/ someone who was sick and I picked it up, I would have died. I went from 129 lbs to 109lbs when he told my GI MD that I needed immediate intervention of nutrients. That was 4 years ago. I am now back to 129 lbs and nutritionally stable. Even today, I still try to eat and only regret it. At my last visit, he told to quit trying to eat solids foods because it will not go anywhere because of the paralysis. I would recommend him to anyone who is having nutritional issues.
