Dr Lao is quick, relatively painless, and comes across as a nice guy. HOWEVER, his work is the worst I have ever experienced. I came in for a cleaning and a crown. I was in and out in 45 minutes. At first I thought his speed was a good thing, but when I looked at the work afterward. I was very disappointed to say the least! The cleaning was terrible, but the crown was worse! Not only was the color completely off, he had ground off all the tooth anatomy leaving a strange blob shape that looked nothing like a tooth! When I complained he just made excuses for himself, acting as if nothing was wrong. Don't be fooled by his pleasant manner, he is only in it for the money. He is fast, but he does terrible work. Don't go here if you care about how your teeth look! Fortunately, the crown he put in was in the back of my mouth. If he had worked on my front teeth I would be much more upset.

I've been going to him for over 30 years and recommend him highly. He's made converts of dentist phobic several friends and co-workers t because he's caring and PAINLESS.
