Dr. Gordon Robert Lewis, DDS

He charges a lot more than other dentists, he also does overbill, performs unnecessary treatments. His office staff is horrible and unprofessional! I don't recommend him at all, there are good ones in town.

I've gone to Dr. Lewis for about 4 years and have had regular cleanings, X-rays, exams, fillings, and a crown in that time. I have very sensitive teeth, but have been more comfortable at this dentist practice than most. The hygienists are thorough in their cleaning and point out areas that may need more brushing. The music is a good, local radio station - I hear it because the hygienists are so diligent, they don't chat. This is ok, but I would feel even more relaxed if they talked a little more. The few times Dr. Lewis has chatted by telling about a trip to the beach he took with his family, I really enjoyed it. It puts a person at ease. I also realize that the "down-to-business" approach can be good too as it means that the dentist and his hygienists are focused on what they are doing. Overall, I am happy with Dr. Lewis and his office. When his wife is at the front desk - she brings that more personable touch to the office.
