Dr. Gordon Allan Miller, MD

Dr Miller has been my doctor for years. Due to my other medical issues, I am in need of a Podiatrist, and would recommend Dr Gordon Miller for any of your foot needs. He has also been my doctor at the Mon Health Wound Center. He is a very knowledgeable doctor, not just in the care of your feet.

My husband (with heel pain) saw Dr Miller over a period of about 6 months. As a fairly active man, his heel was painful, becoming too painful to walk long distances. He made an appt with Dr Miller and was diagnosed with bone spurs. Dr Miller had many suggestion that all seemed reasonable, at was scheduling visits every 3 weeks to check for progress. When one thing didn’t work, they’d try another. Sensible. Finally, Dr Miller gave him a coritozne shot, which helped. Dr Miller said he would give a shot every 6 wks, but continued to see my husband every 3. These every 3 week visits seemed so unnecessary. They were more of a “how’s it going?” visit. Very little would be accomplished. The dr never brought my husband’s chart into the room for review or for notetaking, and because he didn’t seem totally familiar with the case, my husband had to “recap” what they’d been doing up to that point. He didn’t ever remember his name. He was slightly argumentative in answering some questions in… order to justify some of his decisions, though there was never a reason for him to become defensive. Today, after Dr Miller wanted my husband back in 3 wks, scheduling more 3 week visits had become ridiculous and unnecessary. My husband is on Medicare with a supplemental insurance, which, of course, covered most of the charges. So every 3 weeks, Dr Miller was being well paid to treat heel spurs.
