Dr. Gordon Marshall Moss, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Gordon Moss, an internist, for over 10 years. I like him a lot. I find him and his staff to be friendly and most helpful. We took my aging mother to him before she died back in 1999, and he was great with her and helped her a lot. When I moved back to Michigan from Maryland, I remembered him and made an appointment with him and have been seeing him ever since. He's a great doctor, and very caring.

I was referred to Dr. Gordon Moss years ago, and found him, at that time, to be an attentive and qualified doctor. Since then, especially within the past year, I have found him to be lacking in both areas. He is inattentive, has one foot out the examination room door while you are still asking questions, and is quick to sign a script, rather than giving any real or genuine healing advise.

I think Dr. Moss is an excellent doctor. I have been seeing him for 15 years and have found him to be excellent in diagnosis. Also I like his staff. Yes, you might wait a bit in the exam. room but not that long where you are concerned. I have referred Dr. Moss to friends.

Dr. Moss seems pre-occupied with other things than focusing on his patient.

Is more interested in over booking appointments. Breezes in, doesn't really listen to full response, especially with an elderly patient who has someone with them to help with information. Absolutely horrible about returning calls; usually takes several calls to get an answer, even when another medical person is calling. Seems caring but is always "on the run" to the next patient.

Medically, not a bad doctor but overall skill with dealing with patient and follow-up is awful. Takes multiple attempts to receive a call back, even ...

At times difficult to get staff response.
