Summary
Although he is not a specialist in any field of dentistry, Dr. Smith has attended thousands of hours of continuing education. In fact, in 1994, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD)for excellence in continuing dental education in all phases of dentistry. Recently, he has also been awarded active membership in the International Association for Orthodontics for his extensive orthodontic education.
Dr. Smith is involved with various dental study groups and through the Facial Beauty institute has helped instruct other dentists in Restylane® dermal filler technique for wrinkle reduction, facial line filling, and facelifts. He strongly believes that dentists should learn to look at the whole face when evaluating both traditional dental services and enhanced treatments.
He is married to his wonderful wife Jacki and has two beautiful stepdaughters and two grandsons in Atlanta. Dr. Smith is active in the community, supporting many local sports teams, …charities, and other programs, including the Wixom Police Department . D.A.R.E. program. In his spare time, Gordon enjoys singing, teaches and leads folkdancing, and participates in sailing and other fitness activities.
