Nice doctor, but left me completely stranded on my prescription schedule. He gave me no advanced warning I would need to find a new physician, and did not even inform me of this until after my prescriptions had lapsed by several weeks--during which time I called his office every day/every other day to ask when I could get my refills. The staff wouldn't tell me anything, and even after leaving numerous messages with the office and through his work email he wouldn't return my calls or get back to me to tell me he wasn't able to be my doctor any more. Needless to say, it was a disappointment finding out that he would not help his patient transition to a new doctor by keeping me current on my medications. By the time I found a new doctor, my DAILY medication had lapsed by well over a month! As these meds affect mood, I felt very unstable during that lapse. Secondly, despite the fact that, by law, he needed to meet with me periodically to check how my medication was doing, he met with… me only during a follow-up to my initial consultation, in which he prescribed me a fairly LARGE dosage of controlled medications. That was the last time I saw him until more than a year later, when he unceremoniously dropped me as a patient. During that year I would call in and he would write me a prescription to be picked up at the front desk. That was the extent of my contact with him.
