Dr. Gowhar Ahmed Khan, MD

This guy does NOT know anything about punctuality or time. Most doctors are bad but this guy is ridiculous. Arrogant and pompous would best define his personality so if I could give 0 stars I would.

This doctor spends time with patients diagnosing and figuring out what exactly is wrong with you. Unlike other physicians who just rely on medications, this doctor takes a holistic approach and looks at the patient as a whole and treats them accordingly. I'd recommend you see Dr.Khan he is very kind, courteous and understanding. He also allows the patient to understand what is going on by explaining in great detail the cause of the problem. You do get what you wait for and those that wait for doctor khans service are at a real advantage. He treats all his patients with the utmost respect and care. Please do yourself a favor and have Dr. Khan take a look at you, he's worth the wait and definetly will make you feel a whole lot better about yourself after knowing whats wrong. Booking an appointment was very easy, I did it on zocdoc online and had a front desk girl call me back promptly and get me in the same day, other doctors are booked out atleast a month.

Dr. Gowhar Khan is a Gem, Great doctor!!! He is very informative when it comes to a diagnosis. He is very knowledgeable compassionate and helpful. He goes above and beyond He has a wonderful manner that puts patients at ease. My whole family feels comfortable with him. He listens which is very rare. His hours are also very convenient for people who work. He is an excellent doctor who really takes his time with listening and explaining things. He makes sketches for me to explain my medical condition. I really appreciate the communication and attention to detail. He doesn't hesitate to refer to appropriate specialist. I would recommend him to anyone out there who needs a really good doctor. I nominate Dr. Gowhar Khan for Patients' Choice Award.

This dr is a joke! He falls asleep during the appointment you waited 3 hours for!!! I cant believe the nerve of someone thinking its ok to have another human being wait THREE hours for an appointment!!! How RUDE!!! Then he proceeds to tell us oh bye the way I have lost my license so I cant give you the medicine you have been taking for months!!! How ridiculous!! Very disappointed in this "Dr"

This was my Pain managment doctor for a whole year he had me on narcotic medication for my extreme back pain ,then i go there today and he tells me he lost his liscense and cant write prescriptions for narcotic medication anymore...offers me no weaning peroid..no warning ..just left high and dry! i am in utter shock and disgust at the way this has happened to me.

his staff is rude, unprofessional, they seem to come from the ghetto, not college!! They are rude, swear, text eat, follow up to a call into the office re: scripts not called in correctly, lab results, other issues. FORGET ABOUT IT!! Dr Khan is a great doc BUT his staff is HORRIBLE and waiting 4-5 hours to see him is unbelieveable!! I am looking for another doctor, come school time, I must set up babysitting for my kids because no matter WHEN i schedule, I must always make arrangements for kids, even if I have a 10:45 am appt, I will NOT be home by 3 for kids!! Ridiculous!! Dr. Khan has a great bedside manner and he actually cares about his patients, BUT if cared he wouldnt make us wait hours and hours!!

Dr Khan is a polite caring doctor. I like his demeanor ..very nice. He had a battery of test done on me,and the diagnose was Lupus.I have been going to him twice a month for check ups and needed test for Lupus.With his care and physical therapy so far my Lupus has not reached a critical stage. I do like him, but the wait time is frustrating. I have had an appointment at 10am..he comes to office 12ish. I don't like sitting for hours waiting for the dr to show, other people complaining, the smell of cigarettes on some individuals gives me headaches and it is very nauseating.Very crowded at times.. overbooked. It would be nice if he was punctual. Yes he has rounds etcetra..but setting office hours for noon instead of 10am would end alot of frustration for people.Alotting no more than 20 min per patient unless extreme problem would end having to sit and sit for him to get to you. He has an office on Fairway Dr.much nicer enviroment..fresh air when outside door is opened.Limited… appointments at this office but I have arranged my schedule to use this office to see him. I've seen a lot of docs for my condition and after many failed attemps and misdiagnosis dr. Gowhar khan was able to help me out. Not only did he diagnois me properly but he also helped me get on board with the right medication as far as what to take and how to get them cost efficiently without breaking the bank. I had issues with losing my insurance and even after that he still see's me as a self pay and treats me the same as when I had blue crosss insurance. Other doctors have treated me not that great after I lost my insurance or even won't accept me any longer. Dr khan is a true gem and is always willing to help.

I would highly recommend this doctor to all my friends and family. He diagnosis problems and goes to the root cause instead of just prescribing medicine. He is an excellent doctor and refers to all the specilist a pateints needs.
