Dr. Grace Chiang, MD

Dr. Chiang and her nurses are awesome...but if you have to deal with Wendy or Candy, forget it. The front office staff alone is the sole reason I am transferring my care...it was so bad in fact, I am considering having all of my allergy testing re-done just to avoid having to deal with them. Example #1: I was told my paperwork to transfer and pick up my serum would be faxed and so far, the day before my new patient appt. with my new Dr., it has not. Not surprising at all!!! Par for the course for this administrative staff. Dr. Chiang is awesome! So if you can overlook the incompetencies of the front desk staff, then take a chance....it's a total crap shoot...well not really, I can almost guarantee a rude, uppity, receptionist and an ALMOST unresponsive office manager. Example #2: It's amazing how I am told that they have left me several messages while I have a couple of messages from numbers that could be their number with just breathing and background noise, but no messages.… Then when I call back telling them I haven't heard anything, they get confrontational and accusatory. I guess I am supposed to be able to decipher a message from the breathing and background noise. Example #3: At all of my other Wellstar Dr.'s they have noted that we have met our deductibles and out-of-pocket max's for the year, however here, they ask for that co-pay each and every time. Dr. Chiang is very thorough and spends a lot of time with her patients however, the front desk staff continued to leave a bitter taste...I don't have the time or energy it would take to continue to put up with it for myself or my family. I'll miss you Dr. Chiang, but not your admin staff.
