Dr. Grace A D'oria

Where do I even start?.... I went to The Smilist in Amityville in December 2021 to meet Dr. Grace D'Oria - O'Connor because she had several good reviews on a couple of websites.  She was friendly and began to work on some of my cavities with fillings.  The first issue I realized was that I wasn't given enough numbing / novocaine.  She injected the gum but didn't do the cotton swab method first.  All the other 10+ dentists I've gone to in the past gave me enough of it where it causes the edge of your tongue or lip to go numb.  This wasn't the case with her.  The Dr. did a lot of grinding with her tool where I felt a lot of the vibrations in my head which hurt like hell, and it also caused a lot of pain on the other side of my face where my nerves already hurt from my #3 tooth that needed extraction.  The grinding tool they use in that office is rougher than I've experienced anywhere else. After she was done I began to feel something wrong with the bottom of my upper lip.  So I stood… up and showed it to her and she bends down to say it's nothing.  After I returned home I discovered it wasn't at the bottom of my upper lip but instead on the inside of my upper lip.  A piece of it was completely white, sagging, and had wrinkles in it.  It got damaged by the friction of her tool and her carelessness during her filling procedure.  This has never happened to me before with any of the many fillings I've received by 10+ dentists that I've been to in the past.  I could feel the wrinkles in it with my tongue.  The next day white pieces of the inside of my upper lip began to fall off.  I prayed that it would regenerate.  I guess it did. I then began to feel pain on my main molar tooth that she worked on.  The pain got more and more intense as the weeks went on before she was available to be seen again.  When I went to my next appointment she inspected the tooth that she worked on, put a sharp tool lightly in the part of the tooth where she saw she had gone wrong and asked: "Is this where it hurts?"  I said yes, and she told me that seeds were getting stuck in it.  She then became quiet out of guilt and proceeds to redo the entire filling for half an hour. A little over a year later I go there in March 2023 only to find out that she's out on maternity leave.  They then tell me that she's coming back in June. June comes and they tell me that she extended her return until July. July comes and they tell me that she extended her return until August. She finally returns in August 2023 and begins to do a couple of my needed fillings.  After I returned home I discovered that she took it upon herself to file down the entire bottom edge of my main top-right front tooth without even asking me!  She gets rid of the good 80% of the bottom edge by grinding it all off completely up to the height of where the chip began just to make the bottom edge of the tooth straight.  How asinine is that?  Who does that?  A shopworker in his garage with a power tool would have done the same thing.  And a 13-year-old child would keep filing it down until the chip is no longer visible.  She now made my tooth shorter than my top-left front tooth!  Instead of unneccessarily filing the tooth down, she should have just ADDED a filling to the bottom of it instead where the chip was as 2 other dentists have exactly done to it before (the only reason why I keep losing the filling is because I keep forgetting about being careful with what I eat and have bitten on ice pops multiple times).  Plus now she made it straight-edged instead of rounded like my top-left front one naturally is.  So now my 2 front teeth look completely different.  Thanks for ruining my front tooth.  There are too many problems with this girl who people "rave" about.  Nice person but personality doesn't make up for garbage work and decisions.  Don't work on the public if you don't know how to do things properly.
