Dr. Grace Castro Dougan, MD

Dr. Dougan has worked with us for years, giving us straight answers and with a compassionate demeanor. She does not speak over my children or me, but to us, and is open to questions and follow-up. Her explanations are clear and thorough, and I can't say enough good things about her.

Dr. Dougan is the best. I honestly don't understand any of the bad reviews. She is amazing. We have been seeing her since my daughter was first diagnosed with Type 1 at age 3. She is 7 now and we have never had a single issue with Dr. Dougan. She always answers all our questions, takes time to talk with my daughter even though most of the conversation with a 7 year old are non medical related. The best part is if I have a question or request later I can email Dr. Dougan directly and she gets back to me usually the same day. Unlike other doctors who make you come in and charge you to fill out paperwork. (FMLA)

Dr Dougan! honestly I can only say she was AMAZIN very peofecional, she take the time to answer all my questions and also to explain what I needed to know I was very happy with how she behaved with me and with my daughter .NOWWWW People from the front desk HORRIBLE. In person or over the telephone with then I have the worst Customer services. and the nurses are not very friendly.

I hate to say it is doctor office. Extremely rude and annoying staff. Doctor is much worse than staff. Wonder how Baycare is approving her in the network, and she got medical degree.

Not only is the staff rude and unprofessional but the Dr. herself doesn’t seem to take pride in what she does. Very disconnect . Doesn’t respond well to feedback.

Absolutely horrible experience with Dr. Dougan. I would NOT recommend her to anyone, especially, if you have a teen. Teens are growing rapidly and especially hormonally. She was down right condescending and took us for a joke. I HAVE NEVER complained about a doctor, ever! Even if I was unhappy with care or service, I would just simply not go back, but this, was by far, the worse experience. My child left in tears, simply because her suggestion was to exercise, to help with constipation, and took her possible thyroid issue and other symptoms as a joke. My child has suffered from constipation since infancy and is active in sports. She is not even overweight. She is built like a gymnast; short, thick and muscular. We are not a family that runs to the Dr for everything! My child has had an onset of about 10 symptoms all at once almost going on a year. We have been to several specialists and all her tests came back normal except when I took her to another local Endocrinologist and guess… what? She has Hashimoto's and Graves. So obviously, my child needed more than her sorry physical examination to determine if her thyroid was normal. As far as the office staff, they were great! No qualms!
