Don’t let bad reviews based on office staff persuade you away, as Dr Patterson is one of the best doctors I’ve encountered. She sees what others don’t see and offers better testing and solutions beyond the cookie cutter options that optimize your health instead of just medicating your symptoms. She helped me greatly when no one else paid attention and wrote off my problems to “normal aging” related issues.

I attempted to make an appointment for my father who was moving into an independent senior living facility in Michigan, from Maryland. I called the office more than a week before he moved in to advise that he is from out of town, has no local doctor and has many health issues (including being almost out of insulin for his diabetes) so he desperately needed a new patient appointment. No one ever returned my numerous phone calls. Upon my most recent call, more than a week later, I learned that Dr. Patterson was in my father's building today but she never saw him, because his information was never conveyed. Their solution is to have him see a nurse practitioner at some point this month and then Dr. Patterson when she will otherwise be in the building next month, meaning there will be no continuity of care whatsoever. I would not have even gotten this half solution if not for my persistence in following up, since phone calls are not returned. This is completely unacceptable and… frankly I am concerned about even using her since it seems that if my father became ill she would be impossible to reach. They really act like they could not care less.
