Dr. Grace Carol Wright, MD

I saw Dr. Wright during a very hard time. I had been dealing for years with a mysterious inflammatory disease as well as migraines and all sorts of other random issues. She actually took TIME and listened to me and diagnosed me immediately and also put me directly on the best medication for my psoriatic arthritis, instead of trying to put me on the cheaper and much more toxic methotrexate like other doctors have tried with me since I moved away from NY. She also reduced my migraines from 4 per week to one per week and I've been doing great since. She is the BEST!

Every time I go to the office, I have to wait at least one hour to see the doctor. The front desk manager is often rude and curt (which is unacceptable given all the patients that come here are depressed, in severe pain and often feeling hopeless. And the cost of the visit is very high. The doctor is nice but I feel like I never get a straight answer out of her, and never know quite whats wrong with me. She also never follows up, which a good rheumy should do.

It is not easy in this day and age of medicine to find someone who cares enough to listen and spend time with patients. I am a nurse with 30yrs of experience and by now I should know when I see a god doctor, she is the best.

I was refered to her. She seem nice at first but she is more about herself. She likes to praise herself instead of the work. When inquiring about procedures she very short. Not a good side bed manner. I will not refer anyone to her or return. Glad to know that I live in NYC where doctors are a dime a dozen. She could also do better with prices and listening to patients.While in the office talking to her she didn't let me finish some of the things I felt and seem to rush me while in the appointment. After I had to wait 1 hour for her after my appt.
