Dr. Graciano L Zara, MD

My mother went to this doctor for 3 occasions. 1st she went for just a Physical exam and then she tried to continue her care with him. I tried to speak with him in regards to my mothers health and he does not let you speak or even ask question. This doctor DOES NOT UNDERSTAND SPANISH. He would diagnose my mother with the weirdest thing and prescribe medication that she does not need. The last thing he told her was that she could die any minute in Spanish, yet he did not referred her anywhere. Who says that to their patients? Definitely transferring her care.

Health issues were never addressed and my concerns were completely disregarded.

I went to the Doctor Graciano twice I explain all my concerns about my sickness and the doctor don’t listen he told me I have pain because I’m doing gym . I told I never went gym. I’m sick. And the doctor never did nothing. I’m not used this doctor anymore.

28 years ago My husband company was relocated to New Jersey from New York . We had HIP as our health insurances. While under the HIP insurance I had Dr Graciano Zara. When HIP closed down I follow Dr Zara to his office in North Brunswick. For many years I stayed with Dr Zara in North Brunswick practice. It was the best choice I made staying with Dr Zara. I have a lot of health issues . Dr. Zara has been treating me for diabetes ,recommended me to a GYN, urologists, indocronologist ,Heart specialist and has and is still treating me as his patience. He has visit me at the hospital and had followed up on me thru some health issues. Few years ago he moved to New Brunswick and shared an office with Dr trombosco eventually taking over Dr Tronbosco patients when he retire Dr Zara aquired some of Dr Trombosco patients. I have read some unpleasant reviews about Dr Zara witch are totally false. 1) His office had a 2 hr waiting time, 2) he can’t speak Spanish,3) prescribe wrong medication 4)the… place is not clean and he has the worse secretary his wife Francine that she’s all about money. Well let me clearing some of these false reviews 1)when Dr Trombosco was leaving all his patients wanted to be seeing one last time by Dr Trombosco they were all Spanish he was a Spanish Dr for the New Brunswick community so yes his office was over crowed at time. After Dr Trombosco left Dr Zara took over and slot of Dr Trombosco remained under the care of now Dr Graciano Zara. Waiting time is 15 min tops 2) Dr Zara speaks Spanish very well and I have heard him communicating in Spanish with no problem 3) Giving wrong medication to patients that’s a very serious accusation. 4) He May not have the stage of the art office but it’s very cozy and is cleaned and well kept. The waiting area is pleasing to me. As his patients examine rooms they are clean and well kept. As far as his employees that’s a different story, I can tell you that I have had issues with some of his employee with their Spanish foul mouth and yes I have complaint and the were remove. He has a well grounded employee that knows all the record keeping and has knowdge of making sure meds are prescribe correctly. She’s a very faithful employee. I believe those Gael mouthed employee that were let go a the one that are giving nasty rating. As far as his beautiful and faithful wife helping her husband well that’s her line of work for so many years. Excellent secretary and wife Kudos to her. You go Francine. My opinion of Dr Graciano Zara are best Dr there is very caring that’s the most important . And very knowledgeable Dr. I’m glad that there is a way to check how your Dr rate and I’m glad I’m able to rectify some of the false accusation and bad writing some unhappy patient give their Dr. I will continue with Dr Graciano and his medical practice. Dr. Zara has treated my parents for many years and has always being caring and knowledgeable. He always took time to exam and offer advice/resolution for for any medical problem.

Im pretty sure that the positives comments about Dr Zara's are from his wife Francine, the one that only think about money, staff is good, but all the time there is a new staff because they dont care about people. He do not understand spanish and most of the patients are spanish speakers, last time i went i had a headache and he gaves me pills for stomachache. He dont care about people and he do not let people explain about their situations. thats horrible because he dont spend time with patients.

After waiting 2 hours after my scheduled appointment , He wouldn’t fill out my vaccine form for School saying I need to redo all my vaccines from when I was a child. We’re talking measles, chickenpox, polio and 4 others!!! The school just wanted a document of my PREVIOUS vaccinations. I Went to another doctor who filled out my form no problem and didn’t tell me I had to get 10 vaccines redone. Can barely speak English and clearly can’t read it. SHOULD NOT HAVE A MEDICAL LICENSE if you can’t understand the English language !!!

The office is always full of patients so there could be a little wait. The staff is very attentive. Dr. Zara is a really nice doctor. He's been my doctor for years. Always takes good care of me and my family. Definitely recommend him.

Awful doctor. Every time I tried to say something he will tell me to be quiet. No bedside manners . They should have a rating for ZERO stars as he doesn't deserve one star. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL experience. Will NEVER go back .

Dr. Zara has moved to a new location on Livingston Ave near RWJUH. I have followed him from his No. Brunswick office because quite simply no one can compare to Dr. Zara he is simply the best most caring and kind MD I have ever known. Just one problem I miss his nurse Francine !
