Dr. Graham T. Atkins, MD

I am giving my review on Dr Atkins only (not the office staff being rude as another patient posted even though that must have been frustrating at best). Dr Atkins is a very caring sincere respectful knowledgeable lung specialist who i had been seeing for quite some time. He was right on things with visits as once i was there for a routine copd checkup but he noticed my left leg as we spoke and wheeled me down to the ER himself. Ended up I had a blood clot. I was extremely pleased to have Dr Atkins for my copd but am saddened to lose him as he recently took a new position heading the interns and in ICU care so can no longer see out patients.. May the patients and family of those patients know with Dr Atkins they are in good hands. Nothing negative about the man ..yet life goes on so now I will be seeing a different Dr in Lebanon.

Coming back on after getting to know the dr and having more interaction with him. I do not live in his office area so must travel there. Each time i try to get an appointmment, they change the dates I chose online then say i cancelled.....if i cant get there then i feel its only right to cancel so they can fill that appt slot ....yet when I try to get an another appt, the woman on the phone was rude, reading off two dates twice, i had to cancel.....they need to be clear and say Dr Atkins is only here these days and name them or how does a patient know. Today i had to schedule another appt and i heard before he was booked up most of summer so i made an appt for end of Aug online and immediately got a call with the rude woman saying, "Its not happening"......they need to make his schedule days known and be kinder to patients who in the long run, keep them at a desk answering phones......i now requested an appt for next year as I would think hes not sceduled that far in advance, if a… problem again, i just wont be going back......stage 4 copd is enough to deal with......let alone such a hassel scheduling for checkup appts where all they do basically is listen to your lungs and ask a few questions. Should not be so hard to get in....id rather stay home!
