Dr. Grant Schmidt, MD

It's horrible in one word. Please do not waste your time here. I was referred by my gynecologist to Dr Schmidt grant. He never conducted any proper test to resolve my issue which i kept complaining. I had pain in my lower right abdomen after I miscarried. He ignored all this and did some stupid test SSG which was not needed. I wasted my time and money both here. Thankfully I left Columbus and came to California. By god grace i found an amazing doctor who listen my issues and did proper test then I diagnosed with chronic endometritis (chronic infection). Right now on heavy antibiotics and have to go another round of biopsy to confirm everything is fine sometime next week. I do not prefer to write reviews but i went through nightmare for 7 months before I had proper treatment. Listen to your instinct and your body will always give you signals DO NOT TRUST SUCH DOCTORS !!!!

Have been seeing DR Schmidt for awhile and he is very knowledgeable and kind. Easy to talk to and he genuinely cares about you and your concerns. After my miscarriage he was very nice and genuinely upset over the loss. Not a huge fan of some of the nurses I get on the phone but overall I highly recommend this DR and this facility.

He is the best doctor I have ever met. He is so friendly, very knowledgeable and has taken good care of me. I have no words to express my feelings.

So far so good. Dr. Grant Schmidt is very personable and has made me feel comfortable with my upcoming laparoscopy.

I went to see Dr Schmidt because he came highly recommend. I am considered to be of advanced maternal age according to the medical field. I was trying to have a second child. Clomid didn't work, so I took a break. After 2 miscarriages due to low progesterone that went undiagnosed by Dr Schmidt. I conceived on my own. I went back to him when I was trying to conceive again. He doesnt spend much time with you and seems to be in a rush or distracted. That is when I noticed that the same formula seemed to be used for almost every patient. There was no attempt to find out my specific problem. After trying famara and follistim, which caused me to gain 40 pounds, it was implied by him and his colleagues that I stop trying to conceive due to my age. I had also refused donor egg and IVR due to cost. My lifetime limits on infertility medicines had been exhausted due to iui and follistim. I believe that if my specific problem had been… diagnosed and treated right away, instead of following the same path, I may have had the opportunity to conceive again. Instead. My insurance was exhausted and I was deemed too old and sent on my way! Beware the cookie cutter path to fertility at this office!

After three miscarriages, I went to see Dr. Schmidt--he quickly diagnosed the issue and got us on a fast track to pregnancy. He and his staff were wonderful to work with--I didn't want to return to my ob! Class act all the way.

Best experience ever. Dr Schmidt cares about his patients. Total expert and very professional.
