I can't tell you how grateful I am to Dr.Wiswell ,as well asthe his wonderful staff, for getting me right in to take care of an infection that could have gone horribly wrong. Wonderful team!

I had been to another oral surgeon, Dr. Holtzen who also does cosmetic surgery to have a molar extracted. That office scared me and I was afraid I wouldn't wake up from the anesthesia. I ended up with an infection and the bad office put me on antibiotics which did not work and that first doc wanted "to open it up". I got out of there as fast as I could and called Dr. Wiswell 's office on FRIDAY afternoon and they worked me in at 4:30pm. Dr. Wiswell, who had previously extracted a tooth in 2013, came in, looked and said he could clean out the infection right then and there. I had also told Dr. Wiswell how much money the other doc had charged me. When Dr. Wiswell finished getting the infected mess out of that hole where the tooth had been extracted, he said, no charge! How many doctors would do that. There is NO hesitation at all to highly refer him to anyone needing oral surgery or any other procedure he performs, plus he is an M.D. I didn't use him because I thought he didn't… take my dental insurance but I could have used him.

Excellent state of the art care. Dr. Wiswell is friendly, knowledgeable and came highly recommended. I had a great experience and would recommend him to anyone.

I'm not happy! The office staff gave me an out-of-pocket estimate (taking into account my 2 insurances). I paid my out-of-pocket in full up front, but after my surgery they billed me an additional $500!! I had to pay over DOUBLE what they quoted me initially. Dr. Wiswell refused to work with me in writing off a portion of the remainder of the bill even though it was his office that screwed up my insurance benefit verification in the first place! For a wealthy doctor to rip off a family with small children in this economy is despicable!
