Dr. Graydon Gregory Goss, MD

Dr Graydon Goss has been diagnosed as bi-polar yet he drinks alcohol and uses recreational drugs. He has fits of rage,. He used abusive language. He yelled and threatened violence.

I saw this man for several years when I was a preteen. He put me on drug cocktails befitting a violent criminal. He advised my parents to take away all comforts such as clothes (I was to wear the same outfit everyday to school and be humiliated) and a bed, even access to my room. If I tried to gain access to these things, my parents were advised to (and did) call the police. He tried to get them to send me to barbaric programs which were essentially work camps without plumbing. He tortured me. He relished in the control.

My mom brought me to see Dr. Goss at age 15 due to behavioral problems. Dr. Goss did not believe that my parents were abusive alcoholics, despite expressing multiple concerns over the period of our sessions. He also knew that DCF and child services were involved, his solution was to punish me and my siblings more. He told me my panic attacks were a “good thing.” He is, and always will be, the worst doctor I have ever been, and the worst doctor my sister has been to. He should have his license removed

Predator, Sex Offender, Liar

Unfortunately Graydon is rude to emos and scene people and tells them to self injure. He plays guitar and acts like a role model in the music scene but he is not a good role model. I am in a subculture and I hate him for ruining my life and helping two authority figures get away with molesting me. He needs to quit his band and have his license to practice medicine completely revoked. I hope this individual goes to prison.

Dr Goss is aloof, self-involved, and cold. Didn't address my issues well.

Refused to submit my claim to insuronce after forgetting " for months. In essence, I paid about $7500 for therapy out of,pocket and he refused to cooperate in reimbursemnrt from my insurance carrier e.g. oh would ahve paid about 80 percent of thisr, and finally claiming a flood destroyed the notes I never saw him take so the claim couldnt be submitted. . also invited me several times to come hear him play in a band, which i found strange and off putting, and at least borderline judgment for a professional psychiatrist. I never came back.

I wish that I had read these previous reviews before taking my 9 year old son to him. Dr. Goss was recommended to me by the front desk person at my child's pediatrician. He was absolutely the most obnoxious, pompous, arrogant Doctor that I have ever been to. I called to make an appointment because I was concerned that my child might have ADHD or something else. I asked Dr. Goss if he also could do an IQ test as well. He responded, "yes" and we made an appointment. After about 5 minutes he had summed up what was wrong with my child. He was a "smart mouth, manipulative" child and it was my parenting that was this issue. He berated my son to the point of tears. I think he actually liked the fact that the upset my son. Without going into too much here, my son has been bullied horrifically at school. He needed staples in his head for one incident. Dr. Goss wouldn't administer an IQ test because he doesn't believe in them. I wanted to know if I was dealing with an average child or a truly… gifted child. He said that my son was bright and that was all I needed to know. His tactics for behavior modification seemed normal and I had actually started implementing similar modifications before this appointment. I wanted my child to get counseling. I do not believe that one day a child wakes up and decides to be a misbehaved child. Dr. Goss told me that he didn't think my child had any "legitimate reasons " to have counseling. I found this a waste of time and $225.00. Heed these reviews. If I could give a negative stars I would. Stay away.

Awesome doctor. More science less lets talk about you feelings. Kind and very easy to reach.

I can personally attest (and I would swear on this if ever brought to court) that this man negatively impacted my life so deeply and in such unscrupulous ways that no words I can write in this limited space would adequately explain. Please, just trust the 1-star reviews, trust your gut instincts if they are telling you to "beware" and I urge you to seek mental health care elsewhere.
