Dr. Westfall saved my life. I had seen numerous doctors for a sinus infection. He diagnosed my cancer. I owe him my life. He is gentle and has an amazing bedside manner.

Dr. Westfall was attending me for severe heat and pain in my knee 6 weeks after total knee replacement. I was leaving town for another surgical procedure and asked if he would check to see if I had an infection in my knee, hoping that it would be unnessesart to postpone my next surgery. Instead of taking a simple blood test for signs of infection he putt his full force of his large hands on my knee just below the patella and twisted to maximum right and then maximum left while I lay there screaming and crying. I had a pre-op that friday and could not see my usual GP. There was a nurse in attendance at this time. I was weeping and could barely make it to my car in the parking lot. I did not, needless to say, have the surgery. I did get a copy of the medical records report of my visit with Westfall simply stating that I was experiencing pain in my left knee but tolerated the exam well. NO mention of the severe pain resulting from the twisting of my knee or my concern over an infection… that could have been resolved by a simple blood test. I am preparing to have another aurgery on my knee as this tx injured my knee so badly I can hardly walk almost 2 1/2 years later. I also was suffering from lymphedema then and it is worse now and am having ongoing therapy for this incurable condition. He was well aware of this because of his access to my medical records. Some months later I returned to TVC First Care because of lack of ability to breathe and was toldthey wanted me to circumvent their tx center from then on and referred me to ER at the local hospital. I was severly dehydrated.
