Dr. Greg A Gillham, MD

We just spent an hour with a dear friend whose husband is in the hospital where Dr. Gillham is working. After talking to this doctor outside her husband’s room at St. Elizabeth Hospital, she came to meet us in the lobby for lunch. When we saw her coming toward us, we could see she could barely hold herself up. She was crying and so overcome with how this doctor spoke to her! Not one of the other doctors working with her husband treated her in such a way!! And in my opinion no doctor should be allowed to be so unprofessional! There is a sign on that floor that reads “Please take responsibility for the energy you bring into this space. Your words matter. Your behaviors matter. Take a slow deep breath and make sure your energy is in check before entering.” Excellent sign. I hope I nor any of my loved ones ever have to be treated by this person!!! I can’t help but wonder if Dr. Gillham realizes those words are meant for doctors too!!

Never visited him as a physician, but recently ate next to him and his wife at Hiro 88. The entire time he berated his wife publicly about her weight. He repeatedly called her lazy and a liar, and seemingly set out only to embarrass and chastise her. This entire charade lasted at least 30 minutes. It was so upsetting just to witness I scrolled through Nebraska physicians until landing on Dr. Gillham. I hope this message gets back to him so he knows anyone observing that behavior would have seen it as utterly disrespectful, regardless of context.

Very nice. Listened well. Compassionate. Seemed very knowledgeable.
