Dr. Greg D. Komyathy
Dr. Komyathy had a goal as a second grader to become a dentist. Through his years of education, he never changed his mind. He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies, and then in 1995 he graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He has practiced in Okemos for the past 16 years. He loves providing care for his patients and treats them as he would his own family.
Dr. Komyathy has attended numerous continuing education courses to keep him current in the latest dental techniques. He has been very active in organized dentistry. Dr. Komyathy has been on several committees and boards, including Lansing Community College's Dental Advisory Board, Central District Dental Society's Peer Review, Dental Education, and New Dentist committees. He has served as the Central District Dental Society's President, as well as other officer positions. He is currently working with the Attorney General's office and the …State of Michigan's Bureau of Health Professions reviewing complaints and allegations. Dr. Komyathy is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Central District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, International Association of Orthodontics, Functional Orthdontic Association
Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Greg likes to hunt, fish, and ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He has also been seen playing the Bagpipes. He has been married for over 20 years to his wife and has two daughters. His oldest is attending college in North Carolina and his youngest is a junior in high school.
