Dr. Gregory William Pearson, MD

I went to Dr. Pearson for my three year old who has eczema, trying to make sure his breakouts were managed and he had some new looking spots and irritations I wasn’t sure about. From the minute Dr. Pearson walked in, it was clear that because I was never going to be a high paying client of his wanting any of the expensive treatments the office offered that I was not a priority. We waited for around 30 minutes to see him and he spent all of two minutes with us, didn’t even bother to shake my hand or say my name, only briefly said hi to my kid, and was very dismissive of my concerns and questions, writing them off, or answering quickly. Specifically, I asked about some dark striations my child had developed on his thigh and abdomen. Dr. Pearson told me after barely looking or listening to me that is was photodermatitis and my child must have gotten lime juice on him and then been in the sun. I told him I didn’t remember spilling lime juice over my kid’s entire thigh and stomach and it… was something I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t forget, but all he did was double down and tell me I must be wrong because that’s what it looked like. When I asked if there was anything I should do about it, if I should be worried, or if there were other options for what it might be, all he said was that it was fine, would go away, handed me a steroid prescription for the eczema and said see you next time. This was our first appointment with him and it did not feel like a first appointment should. I asked him about other lotions or creams he would recommend because I don’t want to be slathering my kid in a steroid cream all the time and he told me it’s fine to use 2x a day for a month and offered no other alternatives to help manage breakouts. He didn’t care to get to know us, obviously didn’t care to discuss my concerns in any detail, and it was clear that he didn’t care to spend any more time than was absolutely required of him with us because a kid with eczema isn’t a big money patient. But as a parent trying to manage it, trying to keep my kid from getting an infection that they then have to have antibiotics for, it can be very stressful. Obviously will not be going back, but also hope this doctor can get better about listening to patients and actually hearing them/wanting to have a conversation. At the very least, I wish he would have offered alternative lotions to a steroid cream that he has seen be helpful and I also wish he had not dismissed me as being forgetful about something to do with my kid’s skin when I am obviously ALWAYS paying attention to it because it’s part of making sure he’s healthy. I would not recommend you go here if you want to be heard and treated well.

This Doctor lacks knowledge. He gave me a totally wrong diagnostic and wanted to put me through a lengthy and needless antibiotic treatment. He did not even look at my age or other health issues that might have been the cause of my problem. He hardly looked at my skin and was more interested in selling his cosmetic procedures. He is more of an esthetician than a doctor.

Spent under 4 minutes consultation in which took under 60 seconds to hear or see my skin. Spend 3 minutes typing notes. I visited him for three skin issues. Avoid at any cost.

Like him and he does a great job but you have to make appointments way in advance. Last time took over 6 weeks to get in to see him and the issue was bothering me the whole time. That is my only complaint otherwise would rate him 5 stars.

Main complaint is to make an appointment you have to call 3 - 4 weeks in advance. If you have a need for something quickly, no way to get it. Dr. Pearson is great if you get in to see him

Waited 45 minutes to see someone. Persons beadside manner was Terrible. Rushed us through our visit after waiting 45 minutes for him, made negative comments initially toward my sons face which was completely inappropriate.

I have had two appointments with Dr. Pearson and both times I was impressed by his staff's professionalism and Dr. Pearson's patient-oriented focus. Excellent team.

Rude lazy unprofessional staff Will not go back

My husband and I had an appointment recently and we had a very satisfied visit. He was thorough and explained everything to our satisfaction. He had removed a deep precancerous spot on my husband's face last year and we were amazed at how you could hardly tell where he took out the spot despite the fact it was very deep. Unless you know it is there, you cannot see any scaring. Because my husband is a fisherman and is out on the lake a lot, he has precancerous spots appear on his face and he has him come in once a year to check for new spots which he did find new ones this time and treated them.

Dr Pearson himself is extremely personable and appeared to make sound diagnoses. However, I will never return due to the dreadful wait time on my last two appointments. Sixty minutes or more, each time, before I saw the doctor. Who has time to hang around like that? Staff totally unhelpful. It's a real shame as I liked him, but he needs to look at his appointment schedule. His office is clearly taking way more bookings than he can get through.
