Dr. Gregory John Thomson, MD

I had a terrible injury to my leg and had to have emergency surgery. Dr, Thompson refused to speak with me before the surgery but when I would not consent until he spoke with me he spent exactly 3 mins with me. He said don't worry everything will be fine and trust him. He also said the pain would be minimal, which it was not. It was terribly painful and recovery took forever. I could not use my leg for over 10 wks and then had to do extensive, painful physical therapy. I never spoke with the Dr. after those first 3 mins. Instructions were given over the phone by his office manager. I never saw him for a follow up as he sent word via office mgr that I didn't need to see him. I was not prescribed any medications by him. My Primary doctor had to prescribe everything. Good surgeon, poor communicator with patient and indifferent to emotional trauma of patient.

I had extensive surgery done by Dr. Thomson. Although I felt he did a good job with the surgery he has an awful bedside manner and doesn't do enough follow up work. He refused to prescribe meds after I tapered off of the Vicodin.

He is the best! Caring, skilled, a good communicator. One couldn't go wrong with having this excellent pelvic surgeon care for you or your loved one!
