I have encountered some wonderful drs. This is not one of them.

I was having misgivings about a recommendation for radio active iodine. This is for a good reason. Recent studies have shown links between radio active iodine and leukemia. The type of cancer I have is low risk - and leukemia is potentially fatal. When I shared my anxiety with Dr Faiman he suggested I need to get psychological help. This is not only uncaring and not compassionate, it fails to understand what his patient is going through. A cancer diagnosis is anxiety producing. Finding a psychiatrist is an offensive answer to a person who is worried about taking on a treatment prescribed by himself that could escalate the diagnosis to leukemia. I urge you to be careful and seek out a doctor who is willing to listen to you. Find one who shows empathy for you. The cancer is bad enough. The treatments are equally tough. So you need a team around you who will take the time with you and not dismiss your anxieties by telling you to get psychiatric help when his treatment plan… includes risk of escalating your cancer from one that has high survival rates to one that is potentially fatal.

I wanted to find a doctor who I could talk to about my medical condition. This was an important value for me. Unfortunately it soon became apparent that this doctor has his staff communicate. This practice prevents you from asking him any questions. On Friday my health was suffering. As I went to his office the receptionist went to the doctors office and knocked on his door to to ask my questions. Faiman told the receptionist the answers. I had other questions. Dr Faiman eventually came out. As I asked him questions he walked away as I was talking to him. Other than basic questions he did not take the time to explain what the procedures were. It was medicine practiced at me, not with me. My health is important. I am the patient. I felt I should be an equal partner in my care. For that reason I have found a more suitable partner to take over from Dr Faiman.

I had been seeing Dr. Faiman from.2014-2018. I would go into the office and he would just refill my Rx and send me out the door. He also seems to send everyone to his dietitian as a money maker. He did not take the time to properly examine me and when I finally decided to get a second opinion I found out I had cancer for years.

My husband has never been so rudely treated in 22 years of having diabetes. Dr. Faiman cares only about his schedule and not his patients. He also was very neglectful in following up with my husbands side effects and never asked about them.

Very knowledgable and friendly. Has a good system.

I went to Dr Faiman for my last chance of losing weight. I waited a month to get an appt. He told me if I dont lose weight,I will get diabetes,, blah blah.. ok... now im going to put you on a no carb diet.. NOW MAKE AN APPT TO SEE MY DIETICIAN.... first of all, why didnt your staff tell me I would need to see your dietician when I made the appt for weight loss, 2nd that was the biggest waste of a 40$ copay, and 3rd he charged my ins co 450$ for a 5 minute rehursed speal of weight loss.. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! you dont get the diet nor diet pills at your appt.. wait another month to see the dietician..
