Best Family Dentist Ever!

Although Dr. Hendrickson is a good dentist, his billing practices are not. The staff does not contact insurance company to pre-determine benefits. Angela handled my account and it was believed that she contacted insurance company prior to the working being started. Yet, after the claim was denied, I contacted the insurance company and within 5 minutes, learned why the claim was denied and that the office had not contacted the insurance company in over a year. Had Angela contacted the insurance company in advance, she would have been able to inform me that the procedure would not be covered, rather than advising me of the estimates the insurance would pay. Furthermore, she indicated that the surgery should be done and then wait until new year for the remaining procedure so I could receive additional insurance benefits. I had to assist with the appeal, continue to contact insurance company and when the appeal was denied, despite Angela stating the office would work with me, they… did not. After meeting with Angela and Dr. Hendrickson, I was informed by the doctor that the full balance was due.
