Dr. Gregg Anthony Horras, MD

Dr. Gregg Horras is the most professional psychiatrist my daughter and I have ever met! He is so kind, soft spoken, and when he cracks a smile, you know it's genuine. He has a heart of gold. Nic has been in and out of the hospitals (throughout the metro area)since she turned 13. She met Dr. Horras when she turned 18 10 years ago at United Hospitals/St. Paul. From the start he was always upbeat and had a plan to get my child on her road to recovery. We respect what he has had to say over the many years and his advise has always been "spot on". I, as Nicole's mama for life, really sincerely think he was God sent. He saved my daughter after repeated attempts on her life with knowledge of certain meds, dignity, and most importantly with his kindness and respect for the mentally ill. We will miss Dr. Horras more than you can imagine. He was like someone you could ALWAYS count on to help. We both feel a need to say we will miss you Dr. Horras and we will never forget your honesty,… integrity, and the way you dignified mental illness with courage and compassion for those who can't rally for themselves. He was an excellent psychiatrist (first one I've seen)

giant ego. Rude. Bullying attitude. Confused me with another patient and lectured me on drug and alcohol abuse (not one of my issues). Yelled at me, became very agitated when I asked about continuing on my antidepressant.

So rude and egotistical. Treated me in a very condescending way. He is awful and unethical.

Angry demeanor, seemed to have me mixed up with another patient - brought up issues that I did not have. Terrible bedside manner.
