I had my 9th grader in for wisdom teeth extraction. he was impatient and almost irritated that we were his patient,

I will never bring my child to him again. He lost his temper with her. He could have given her time to get still or given me the chance to hold her still while he was giving her the local before tooth extraction. It's scary enough for a little one without the doctor being unkind.

Everything was fine until I started bleeding heavily in the recovery room. To where I was taken to a room with the doctor and one nurse. They began to talk about their personal life and then it became sexual. It was so awkward. I understand where this other commenter is coming from when they say he was unprofessional. It was highly innapropriate.

I have had several visits for extractions and most recently an implant. Never had any problems, Quick recovery.

Doctor was very unprofessional.

Dr. Hosch took my wisdom teeth out a few months ago and everything went perfectly. I was a late bloomer in the whole getting your wisdom teeth out department- I waited until I was 24 and one of them started hurting like a... a lot. It hurt a lot. Didn't take long to get an appointment and I asked him just to take all of them out while he was in there. I'm pretty sure they gave me some steroids with the injected anesthetic- I think that's what he said, but I was starting to go under, so that part's a little fuzzy. Either way, with vigilant ice pack application (I am a nurse) I had NO SWELLING - maybe they all do that now, but if I remember correctly all my friends looked like chipmunks for weeks. Also, HE called me that night to make sure I was doing ok- HE DID- which I thought was pretty cool. I don't remember who my nurse was after, but I do remember she was very patient with me as I kept trying to change my bloody mouth gauze that I was not supposed to touch. She also steadied me as… I hobbled to the car like a 96 year old drunkard- my legs worked fine but my brain wasn't quite right. Of course there was some pain afterwards (duh, they ripped teeth out of my mouth) but I had conveniently got my Vicodin there at the surgery center (good planning guys) so I took that and kept rinsing all that disgusting crap out of the caverns where my teeth used to be and healed perfectly with no complications. Nice guy, no surgical complications, and good blood pressure cuffs (they don't get to that point where you're like "whoah, is this going to squeeze my arm off?") Thanks!
